I have used this ink pad SO Much since receiving it. Originally I figured it would be nice to create a soft background on white cardstock but its even more then that.... great to add a shadow to a stamp, Ink blending, stamping out your design before you commit to placement, adding a soft accent on an envelope. This color is perfect when you want something that is not bold and distracting. I can see why it was out of stock so many times before. Thanks Dawn! Another amazing staple for my craft room from WPlus9!

I can't believe I waited so long to purchase this color. I originally purchased it thinking it would be good for no-line coloring techniques. However, I find myself reaching for it more and more often.
I've been so happy to see how Fairy Dust is fantastic to create those muted stamped background textures. Last night, I was using Wplus9 Cashmere card stock and wanted a faint image stamped on the inside of the card. After trying nearly every light, warm colored ink in my collection, I reached for Wplus9 Fairy Dust. PERFECT! I was amazed to see how even on the creamy card stock, this cool grey took on a stunning, light warm grey tone.
Don't miss this versatile color! I'm ordering the re-inker now so I won't be without it!

Fairy dust was an impulse shop. I am a huge fan of WPlus9's dye inks so how could I go wrong? The palest of greys is almost a white grey when dry, like a shadow of a shadow. Double stamping the Fairy dust first and a deeper colour on top a 2 millimetres off creates fantastic soft shadowing. It brightens up a very pale page and used within a floral theme design provides a wonderfully cool shade against soft pale pinks and yellow shades (Little Piggy and Falling Star are great examples). It has gone from a splurge buy to a staple. Let the dusting begin!
